Does anyone have any information about this tenor guitar? As far as I can tell it was made possibly in the late 1920's. It's Rosewood with a Spruce top. It badly needs a neck reset but I have no idea what kind of neck joint it has. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you know anyone with access to an x-ray machine, you can x-ray the heel/body joint.

I'm as curious as you are, and I'm sorry to say that I can't offer any help. But if you post a picture of the heel area, it might offer clues to members much more experienced than I am. Looks like a real nice vintage instrument to me, built with some good quality, and most likely without any problems that aren't fixable in a fairly straightforward way. I like it! By the way, I also like the vintage care in the background.

Info from Gruhn Guitars suggests that it's a dovetail joint. And that's a 1956 Chevy 150 2 door post in the background. Too many hobbies!
